My name is Peter, and I started 3M&P for one simple reason: I've been in the dark myself.
I grew up in a Christian family. My grandfather was a pastor. My grandmother was the voice that held the congregation together. Faith surrounded me my whole life, yet I found myself in an environment far from everything I knew to be true. Substance abuse. Gangs. A life pulling me in the wrong direction.
And in the middle of it, my mental health was falling apart.
What brought me back wasn't one big revelation. It was small things. People who kept believing in me. A faith I never fully let go of. And understanding that Jesus doesn't wait for you to have it all together. He meets you exactly where you are, the same way Thomas was met after his eight days of doubt and fear.
He doesn't wait for you to be ready. He doesn't wait for your mental health to be sorted, or for you to be free from whatever you're struggling with. He meets you exactly as you are, and builds you back up from there, from the ground up. That's the part people so often miss about faith. We think God is waiting for us to get it together first. He isn't. He meets you now, as you are.
3M&P was born because I wanted to create something visible. A symbol people could carry, one that tells someone struggling today: "It's safe here." No one should have to fight alone, in silence.
3 = Free. M = Mind. P = Peace.
Freedom in the mind is possible. I'm proof of that.
